At the end of 2019, I lost my teeth due to a traffic accident. It took me weeks to recover the road rash. During that time, I learned two life lessons. Here they are.
First things first, I did accept the fact that I just had an accident and got injured as the consequence. I also told myself that it would take few days to recover and months to have my teeth back. So it was okay and I just needed to enjoy the process. I believed that millions of cells in my body were working their best to recover all injuries. To keep them on duty with high spirit, I encouraged them by maintaining my mood to be good at anytime since the very first second of the accident. I forbade any negative energies that would ruin my mood or take me down. Positive vibes only! So, accept the fact and encourage ourself.
I treated my injuries with care and wishing them to recover ASAP. I applied Betadine every morning and covered with medical bandage whenever I would go out. And they proved it in about three weeks for total recovery (until all scabs were fallen off)!
If I blamed the accident, the car owner, or anything that made me lost my teeth, it was the negative energy starting to cover my mind
Chanting daimoku and practicing Buddhism
The next thing I learned is that surrounding ourself with good people and positive energies will help and lift up in any worst situation. In my case, I have friends of SGI, Mobilepulsa, and my uni-life. I never stop feeling grateful despite of the pain and loss. Really appreciate each one of those who had helped, encouraged, brought me lots of food, and been there for me.
A plus, always be grateful for every little thing that come together within the bad situation. I got those motorcycle riders who helped me at the time of the accident.
To keep them in my memory, I wrote this post. So whenever I read this, I will be grateful and encourage myself.
Anyway, I'm all good. Still have numbers of teeth treatment, but I can eat satay and steak right now! Oh, there are many scars and I am in a mission to camouflage them by applying an oil. Thankfully, no infection so far.
Hope you always surround yourself with positivity.
Cheers!
